Barely Dead

ALPHA 0.1 IS ONLY A GUI TEST AND NO STORY CONTENT IS PRESENT INGAME YET

This project is a proof of concept for creating another Visual Novel project. The majority of assets used are not my own. This simply assists in honing my writing and programming skills for my own original project. That said, the story and execution are aimed to still be original for this project and give readers something of value to play.  NOTHING is concrete as of yet and everything is yet to be refined.  There is also going to be H Scenes so that's going to be fun.

A world where morals are forgotten. 

Yuta is caught in the middle of chaos as the world is falling apart. Zombies have managed to eat away at the daily life we are all so accustomed to. He must survive and fight through both Zombies and other humans alike. Will Yuta fall into degeneracy and despair, or find the courage to live on? Time will tell. 

Main Characters:

Yuta

The protagonist, Yuta is very self-aware and is not the most social person as before the apocalypse he preferred to stay at home and game when he wasn’t working at his entry-level office job. Despite his lack of confidence he always tries to help others. His stern face often makes him look scarier than he is.

Saya

Saya is a girl with a pure heart who is just trying to survive. She is headstrong and naive but also shy at times. Before the apocalypse, she was at University studying to become a teacher. She is a bright-looking girl with long brown hair.

Kaori

Kaori is a coolheaded and intelligent woman, after the world fell apart she is struggling to cope with her new way of life. Before the apocalypse, she was a doctor who had just got a placement at a hospital. She believes in more logical approaches to life, but is secretly very compassionate and sometimes finds it hard to conceal her emotions. She is a mature and elegant woman.
